Globi goes snorkeling with environmental scientist from Basel

In the latest Globi book, author Atlant Bieri addresses the influence of immigrant animals on our ecosystem. A research team from the University of Basel was involved in the development of the book and even went snorkeling with Globi.

The global travel routes of animals and plants and their influence on our ecosystem are thus addressed. The aim is to sensitize children to the problem of invasive species. Once the species have migrated, it becomes much more difficult to prevent them from spreading.
On 15 June 2017, Globi author Atlant Bieri and environmental scientist Anouk N'Guyen (MSD alumna) went snorkelling above the Schweizerhalle Schifflände to observe the Black Sea gobies.
